Looking Back In Retrospect To 1975...
by titch ingreetings, folks: so, it's been 40 years since 1975. and, if you were actively involved with the witnesses back then, the mindset of many was, that by early autumn of 1975, it would mark the anniversary of 6000 years of human existence.
and, the hope was then, that it would mark the start of the 1000-year of christ, from the heavenly realm.
but, looking back now, 40 years ago, in june of 1975, only 3 more months remained until early autumn.

The first Gay pride parade in 1969. Surely Jehovah will not stand for that. -

Fun at The WT This Morning
by OneFingerSalute inso ofs was at the wt this morning, and on par.
14 the question was, "what trust can a faithful christian whose relative is disfellowshipped have?".
after awhile when no one else raised their hands ofs did, and was called on.. ofs commented, "one of jw can have the trust that god will lovingly give them the ability to uphold the disfellowshipping arrangement by totally shunning family members.".

Maybe we need a handy-dandy tablet so we can pull it out when talking to JW.
Great job...

What would a Psychoanalyst think about Jehovah's mental health condition?
by Brokeback Watchtower ini think he would definitely diagnose him with a extremely violent form of narcissism, lugging around a huge shadow of denial, which makes him petty and homophobic, and those 100,000 animal sacrifice orgies he so very much enjoys are a sign of a serious greedy glutton.
no doubt this voracious hunger for burnt flesh of lowly animals stems from the energy need after he experiences a uncontrollable bursts of anger creating a vicious cycle he can not break free of so that the only thing that can save him and turn him less violent is a human sacrifice from his heavenly son incarnate to quell his terrible anger.. maybe some form of oedipus complex too?.

The one that flew over the cuckoo's nest.. JW, you know the world is ending soon,
we believe in demons, we are special, Satan is all around us today, if you are not
A JW your butt will burn soon, we are the only sane people on earth today, 99.99%
of the folks on earth are following the Devil, we don't celebrate birthdays because
4-5 thousands years ago someone was beheaded. We believe in talking snakes, Jackass
and a big boat.

Tax-exempt Status of Churches and the Gay Marriage Decision
by lambsbottom init will be interesting to see what will happen with the "beloved" 501c3 tax exempt status which the churches hold so dearly onto.
the first-century christians met in homes.
they did not have exemption from taxes to the governments.

Forget about KH marriage, can a married gay couple become a JW???
I'm sure Married gay couples will not be knocking down the KH doors to become
a JW, but they must except gay couples to get the tax exemption status.
The ORG book, "living up to those standards", that will have to change, New Light.

Slow motion pioneers
by 1Averagejoe inobserving our local unemployed pioneers and how long they take to get to their first or next call, usually taking the longest route to get to one they know won't be there anyway.
along the way it's gossipy this and that.

My pioneer hours, building a KH. That was great, a couple of studies a week, maybe
a few door knocking and book study conductor and Sunday talks. Elders have it made.
It's like a General in the Army, send the troops out while you sit and shoot the breeze.
Yes I was a special pioneer in those days.

I don't get it, who do they think Matthew 6:5 apply to. Who else is
standing on street corners but JW's. "For they love to pray standing in the
synagogues (we know they love to give long prayers) and on the corners of the
streets (what other religion is doing this) , that they may be seen by men.

This is exciting news folks. The gay community is very vocal here in
California. Think about it, the Witnesses are under the radar but if the
gay community get wind of no way they could become a JW, get baptized
the sh--t will hit the fan. Picket signs outside of the KH. It would be far more effective
then one of us. Now all we need to do is put a bug in the ear of a gay leader.
JW think you folks are abhorring, all are welcome except Gays and Apostate.

Now I see why JW's say they are the happiest people in the world, boozing
overeating and now drugs. Sounds like a fun place...
Witnesses have always been known for heavy drinkers, drink and be merry...

merk ch 16 says all believers of jesus will perform miracles....
by sowhatnow in15 he said to them, go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.
16 whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.
17 and these signs will accompany those who believe: in my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; 18 they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well.. 19 after the lord jesus had spoken to them, he was taken up into heaven and he sat at the right hand of god.

" In my name they will drive out demons". Try promoting that today in
your church. Not many churches speak about demons anymore, I wonder
if the phrase "the devil made me do it" have something to do with it.
The phrase made popular by Flip Wilson....
